She said she does a lot of shopping over the internet and that our images & descriptions were impressive. We listed the maximum of 25 photos, taken with our digital camera, and adjusted the contrast and brightness where required. We took photos from 2 different angles in large rooms. In the descriptions of each photo, I detailed all the features, including the window views of the rooms, e.g. the landscaping and/or pool, and indicated what each room was next to, rather than showing the house plans. I took day & night photos of the outdoor entertainment area to show the different lighting. Within days of our house going under contract, we received 2 more enquiries, one from interstate and one local, who said our house was exactly what he was looking for and to please contact him if the contract fell through. The photo on our sign was of excellent quality and we would recommend DIYsell to other property sellers. We also liked the fact that a high number of photos can be viewed, so people can have a good tour of your property on line. Having a quality website of a property for sale definately is the way to go. Better than having lots of people brought to your home by agents, and having an open house every weekend for several months."

"Just so you know I came across your website when a friend mentioned the name. After finding it in a google search, I immediately posted my ad. Because I didn't have anything on my credit card that day, I uploaded my professional photographs the next day when I had some credit on the card. It was within about an hour that I received an email inquiry from a woman in Sydney who left all her contact details. We spoke on the phone straight away(on a Wednesday I think) and she was very impressed with the property. I explained that I had actually accepted a conditional offer through an agent the previous day. She said that her husband had to probably settle on another sale before they could do anything anyway.
However the next day she rang back and said they wanted to fly up to Tweed from Sydney to inspect our house. As we had not entered into any contract as yet (and even if we did it was going to be a conditional contract with a sunset clause) I said great we will see you when you get here. They flew up on the Saturday and came through the house. We then sat down on our terrace and talked bout price and conditions. Once we both had a few minutes to consider our positions we agreed on a price and shook hands on it then and there. What a great feeling it was. We all agreed that we felt very comfortable with each other and because of the intuitive trust that we had, it was very easy to negotiate directly without the interference of any other parties.
We are extremely happy with the result and obviously very relieved not to be handing over $25K in agent's commission! Thank you very much to the whole team and congratulations on a fantastic website. We had also listed our property on a free website without any result, but the moment I opened your home page I was impressed with the professional presentation and particularly with the excellent full page property profile and the way it presents (we are still getting more hits on your site than we were on realestate.com.au). "We found this site to be absolutely marvellous. The cost of advertising in Newspapers was substantially reduced as all information could be obtained from the Web Site. Although the Purchasers of our Property did not view it on the Website prior to inspection, we gave the printout from the Website as a handout to take away with them.
We advertised in Newspapers over a six month period and probably had about 12 responses. Over the next six months we shortened the media ads and used the Website and we probably had about 30 responses. The feedback from those looking was that it was excellent to be able to get a lot of information about the property, without any pressure prior to inspection.
We saved $11,500 commission. We would not sell through an Agent again.
This is a great website. If I hear anyone mention that they intend to sell or buy, I sing the praises of this site and give them the web address.
If Agents do not want to play fair, especially in the Country where they will not negotiate on fees,
are far more expensive than in the city, even though their overheads are lower and most times do not even accompany a Client, they hand them a map.
